"However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find [this kind of persistent] faith on the earth?" (Luke 18:8)
The Lord commended the widow for her faith...her confident trust in her God and His ability to turn around even what looks impossible in the natural.
"So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith." (Galatians 3:9)
The widow had the Abraham kind of faith...the faith that believes and remains focused even in the face of apparently unchanging physical realities. That's why Scripture admonishes us to copy or imitate such:
"..so that you will not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises." (Hebrews 6:12)
The widow just like faithful Abraham, in hope believed against hope...that her quest for justice will prosper in spite of the evidence of the seen realm.
"While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal." (2 Corinthians 4:17-18)
She endured as seeing Him who is invisible and refused to be discouraged by the seen...and her persistent faith overthrew the temporal realities and ushered in realities already established in the eternal counsel of God.

Prayer: Father, let my heart be anchored in faith in Your eternal word and to know
that You will indeed accomplish the things that concern me. In Jesus name, amen.
